Encased in the coat is a layer of 3000 Gauss north facing neodymium rare earth magnets. The reason I first designed a magnetic dog coat was for my little doggie diva "Cee Cee" who is a Pom Silky cross. He dislocated his hind leg and had the ball joint removed which left him lifting his leg going down the stairs and also it would take a while for him to get the leg to work properly when he would get up from laying down. I designed the coat concentrating the magnets over the hip area. Within four weeks I noticed he was not lifting the leg any more. Because animals circulation drops at night while they are sleeping, using a magnetic dog bed in conjunction with the magnetic dog coat can provide an even greater therapeutic result. Within six months he had no stiffness within the joint at all thanks to this all natural therapeutic product.
