Magnetic Thumb Support Brace

Why do you need a magnetic thumb guard?
I have noticed that most people start to feel the debilitating pain in their thumbs first; this is because certain tendons, especially those of the hand and forearm, are particularly susceptible to inflammation in the tendons that extend the thumb away from the hand. This is called de Quatrain’s syndrome. Why is this so? Think about it, we use our thumbs more than anything, that’s why it is often to first to suffer. It is our thumbs that differentiate us from the rest of the primates. 

How will our magnetic therapy work for you to pain relief?
We have manufactured our Magnetic Thumb Guard with strong 3000 gauss neodymium rare earth magnets that covers all the sides of the thumb and a magnetic strip throughout the entire wrist area. The magnetic field therapy surrounding the thumb area may assist with pain relief.  The magnetic thumb support may be beneficial for the relief of pain.

Why use Rare Earth Magnets?

Different materials have different abilities to enble them to become magnets. There are now four classes of commercial magnets of which Neodymium iron boron is the newest. Neodymium are called rare earth magnets here in Australia because it is composed of materials from the rare earth group of elements. At room temperature the neodymium rare earth magnets display the strongest magnetic pull of all materials and therefore provide the best level of magnetic therapy.
